Fly away tag with Scrapmatts

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post!
This is a tag made with Scrapmatts stencils and chipboards and Papericious paper collection.
It's a kind of encouragement tag and I made the double sentiment saying : Go and find yourself and then fly away".

Both sentiment parts are arranged over the Scrapmatts chipboard pieces made with cardstock and stickers.
Chipboards were painted with Prima Spark and Metallic paints.
I used two stencils for the textured background, but only the lower one is still seen.

Captured Blessed Moments layout

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I want to share a layout made with Scrapmatts chipboards and Kaisercrafts paper collections.

I scrapped my adorable grand kids again (as always) and made it with Kaisercraft July challenge inspiration.
The 12*12'' cardstock is from Provincial collection; the die cuts are from Treasured Moments and from Generations.
The only add- ons are Scrapmatts chipboards and s bit of black paint over the chipboards and around the page.

Here are some close- ups to the different  spots of this page:

I also added some stencilled texture over the " white spaces" of this page- hardly seen as it's pearled white paste on almost white cardstock.

I enter this piece to Kaisercraft blog challenge for July

Fabric Flowers necklace tutorial with Papericious

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last July post made for Papericious blog.
Irit from Irit Shalom's Designs is here today and
this time I was asked  to make a tutorial using Papericious most gorgeous fabric flowers from the last release.
So as all of us already made Mixed Media pieces and scrapbooking layouts and cards with these flowers I decided to make an altered necklace and it's a real wearable art piece.

And as always I made a small (really small this time) tutorial how to create this necklace.

1. Paint a few pieces of Papericious chipboard with Papericious Black Heavy gesso and let them dry.

2.Use proper adhesive and add black and gold embossing powder over the black painted chipboards.
I used the old products that I have in my stash, but any embossing powder adhesive (clear inks etc) and any mix of black and gold powders will do the job.

3.Mist the fabric Papericious flowers with black mist and let them dry.

4.Add Papericious Crystal Clear powder using Glossy Accents over the black flowers.

5. Arrange the necklace using the heat embossed chipboard pieces, misted and white flowers and some Papericious lace and gold jewelry findings from your stash.
To be sure that this piece is wearable I added a thick layer of clear resin over the back of painted and heat embossed chipboards. This step takes a lot of time because of the very long drying time, but it's totally " must to do" step if you leave in the hot country like mine.

And another look at the finished necklace:

Hope you liked my small and easy tutorial and would try this project by your own.

Christmas in July with Topflight stamps shop

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit  is here today and I am going to share my Christmas in July inspiration for Topflifht Stamps shop.
Let's begin from two odd things first.
How can we even think about making Winter and Holidays  projects with this hell heat outside?
But actually we all do. Lots of sites  show Christmas releases and projects right now.
So we, on our Topflight Stamps shop site, do just the same. It make the outside hell less hot, for me at least.
Second important odd thing is that I am Jewish and we don't even celebrate Christmas, also we do celebrate New Year and Winter season.
But for me Christmas is all about my childhood. I was born in Ukraine and moved to Israel when I was about 15, so I still remember and adore all Holiday symbols, colors and tastes and I really love to craft for my friends and part of my family.
And finally here is my Christmas in July card for you to see.

As you can see it's a layered scene made with one single stamp set- IndigoBlu " Looks like rain, dear" red rubber stamps set.
For my card I used the small stamps from the set, all five of them.
Some were stamped directly on the cardstock and some were stamped and hand cut and then glued over the card.
The sentiment spot was stamped, die cut and added on the corner.

As you can see I used 4 waved dies (just non branded cheap ones) to make the snow landscape.
I used  acrylic paint to make the blue background and added " snow effect" with white pearled 3d paint.

I hope that you liked my Winter inspiration today and next week I am going to share the totally different project made with the very same stamp set.
And as for now- run to the shop and see the largest in USA selection of non USA artistic stamps and  the best ever Holiday section.
If I made my very first Holiday project you  should think about it too.
And if you want to visit my blog and to see more of my work- you are mostly welcome!

July Media post with BoBunny: Wings altered wooden board

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media canvas made for BoBunny using BoBunny and Pentart products with Serendipity paper collection.
I loved the encouragement sentiment from the cardstock and decided to make the whole art piece according ton this sentiment.
So this is not about birds at all. This is about courage and decisions and ability to fly even if your wings are a bit broken.
